The tallest member of Rocketboat, Josh is a mercenary musician who performs with several different artists. In his spare time, he likes making video games.
Rocketboat is a real life four-piece independent rock band based out of the Chicagoland area. Though video games may or may not be the first thing that comes to mind when listening to Rocketboat, the influences become very apparent when you listen to their album translated into 8-bit Nintendo songs!
Rocketboat bassist Josh Hanchar has meticulously recreated the band's entire debut album as a near note-for-note 8-bit translation of the original recording. The arrangements have been slightly re-envisioned to more closely emulate the limitations of the original Nintendo sound hardware. The full chiptune remakes of the songs are unlockable and playable in the game's jukebox via collecting secret music notes scattered about the the levels.
